Sansert Choabert was born the 14th of November 1988 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Visual arts have always been present in her life since childhood. At first with painting and drawing, then with films and finally with photography.

Through her photography Sansert endeavors to document her history and create a space where the viewer can introduce itself to her personal universe. The ground of her work is the self-reflection of her individuality as a woman, the self-question of her identity and the search for different views on her inner world

When it comes to equipment, Sansert always builds her own as she finds enriching to become involved throughout all the process of creation. Her pictures are usually taken with one or two 500w lamps bought in a garden supply store and a golf umbrella as a softbox. The artist only uses Photoshop to convert to black and white and make some contrast adjustments and cropping.

Sansert Choabert has studied in several photography and art institutions.
Currently she is pursuing a graduate degree on Art Curatorship and Managment while working as a freelance and focusing on new projects.
